Day 01 Arrival to Istanbul Sunday

Welcome to Istanbul – Cradle of Civilisations! Get ready for the magical 8 days Turkey package. On arrival at Istanbul Airport you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Check in and the rest of the day is yours to explore the city. Overnight in Istanbul (Optional Dinner Cruise Turkish Night Shows)

Day 02 Full Day Ottoman Relics & Byzantium Tour (Breakfast + Lunch Included) Monday

* Visited Sights: The Old city  “Sultanahmet”  – Topkapi Palace –  Grand Bazaar – Blue Mosque – Hagia Sophia – Hippodrome – Obelisk of Theodosius – German Fountain of Wilhelm II  – Serpentine Column

After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of the Sultan Ahmet Centre, the heart of the Old City from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled, starting with a visit to the Hagia Sophia, one of the greatest architectural marvels. Then continue to the majestic Blue Mosque, famous for it’s blue İznik tiles. See the historic Hippodrome of ancient times, Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. After lunch, continue with the Grand Covered Bazaar, the most attractive shopping centre and the largest “souk” in the world. Final visit to Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman Sultans and home to the Imperial Treasury. End of the tour transfer to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 03 Half Day Bosphorus Tour / Flight to Cappadocia (Breakfast Included) Tuesday

* Visited Sights:  Bosphorus Region – Rumeli Fortress – Spice Bazaar

Check out after breakfast at the hotel. According to your tour pick up time, meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel and depart for your half day tour. First stop is the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar): The air here is filled with the tantalising aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other herb and spice imaginable.  Next; Bosphorus Cruise: A traditional boat trip along the waterway that separates Europe and Asia. The shores are lined with old wooden villas, marble palaces, fortresses and small fishing villages. During the tour you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, Rustem Pasa Mosque, Rumeli Fortress and continue along the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. After the tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. On arrival you will be met by your driver who will take you safely to your hotel. Check in. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 04 Full Day Cappadocia Green Tour (Breakfast, Lunch Included) Wednesday

* Visited Sights: Goreme Panorama Point – Kaymakli Underground City – Ihlara Valley – Belisirma Village – Selimiye Monastery – Pigeon Valley

After breakfast, your first stop will be to see the incredible views of the fairy chimneys and rock formations. We then head to the underground city of Kaymakli, one of the deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Immediately after visiting the underground city, we continue on to the Ihlara Valley. Here we have the opportunity to walk part of the valley and see the frescoed churches. We stop at the village of Belisirma for lunch. Then we will visit the rock carved Selime Monastery. Our last stop will be at the Cappadocia Pigeon Valley, which consists of pigeon houses carved over thousands of years. We then head back to your hotel in Cappadocia.

*There will be roughly 2 mile walking during the tour.(3Km)

Day 05 Full Day Cappadocia Red Tour (Breakfast, Lunch Included) Thursday

* Visited Sights:  Uchisar Castle – Goreme Open Air Museum – Love Valley – Avanos – Pashabag – Devrent Valley –  Avanos – Three Beauties ( Urgup )

After breakfast we visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Our second stop will be Pashabag Valley, also called Monks Valley, which has some of the most beautiful examples of mushroom shaped fairy chimneys. We then continue to Devrent Valley, also called Dream Valley, where some of the rock formations are located. After lunch in Avanos, we will visit the pottery workshop and watch a demonstration of pottery making. We will also learn about the history of pottery from centuries ago to the present day. Our last stop is to see Uchisar Castle, one of the highest points in Cappadocia, as a panorama and learn its history, and then return to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 06 Cappadocia to Antalya via Konya by bus or minivan (Breakfast included) Friday

Pick up by the driver around 08.30-08.45am and drive to Antalya via Konya. After 4 hours we reach Konya where you will have your lunch with famous Etli Ekmek and visit Konya Mevlana Museum, School of Whirling Dervishes. (Lunch is at your expense) Drive 3 hours more to reach Antalya. Arrival in Antalya, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07  Antalya City Tour & Waterfalls Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included) Saturday

* Visited Sights:  Old town of Kaleiçi & Hadrian’s Gate & Clock Tower & Fluted Minaret & Waterfalls

Meet your guide and drive to Karpuz Kaldıran Waterfalls, the place where the waterfalls meet the sea and have a photo break at Konyaalti Beach. Our next stop will be in Kaleiçi. Then visit the old town with Hadrian’s Gate, Clock Tower, Fluted Minaret, Palm Street and the old harbour. There are many beautiful old houses in Kaleiçi. Drive to Kursunlu Waterfalls and lunch will be taken on the road. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 08 Aspendos, Perge and Side Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included) Sunday

* Visited Sights: Perge Ancient City & Kursunlu Waterfalls & Ancient Roman Theatre of Aspendos

In the morning departure from your hotel with the first stop being Perge which is 18 km east of Antalya. The Hittites settled in this area in 1500 BC and St Paul is said to have stopped here on one of his journeys. Here you can see some fine examples of the ancient colonnaded streets, agora, bath, stadium and theatre.

Drive to the Kursunlu Waterfalls, 19 km from Antalya, at the end of a 7 km road that branches off to the north from the Antalya-Serik-Alanya Highway at a point 12 km from Antalya. The waterfalls are on one of the tributaries of the Aksu River and their location in the middle of a pine forest is of exceptional beauty. The scenery around the water is a lovely picnic and recreation area only twenty minutes from the centre of Antalya. Lunch will be taken in a typical Turkish restaurant.

Drive to Aspendos Ancient Theatre, which is one of the best preserved amphitheatres of all time and is still used today for many live performances of ballet, opera and classical works of art due to its fabulous acoustics and large seating capacity (5,000). Near the theatre are the remains of the largest aqueduct in ancient Anatolia. Overnight in Antalya.

Day 09 Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included) Monday

* Visited Sights:  Ancient Pamukkale Cotton Castles & Hierapolis – Cleopatra’s Pool – Thermal Hot Springs & Terraces

This morning we head to the magnificent white calcium terraces known as travertines in Pamukkale, where we also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a bath between the ancient columns in the hot springs, used in Roman times for their therapeutic properties.

After an early morning pick up from your hotel, drive to Pamukkale; the pools of heaven on earth… Pamukkale has always been a very popular settlement where the hot springs were believed to have healing powers, so it is considered to be the earliest spa in the world where, throughout history, people have travelled long distances to find a cure. The unique terraces were formed by the flow of warm spring water at a temperature of 35 C, containing calcium bicarbonate. Today Pamukkale is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the largest necropolis in Anatolia with 1200 tombstones. The Sacred Pool is also one of the highlights of the site. The shallow thermal waters of Theır ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient Roman ruins that lie below. After the tour, transfer to your hotel. Check in. Overnight in Pamukkale or Kusadasi.

Day 10 Ephesus Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included) Tuesday

* Visited Sights:  Ephesus Ancient Ruins – House of Virgin Mary – Temple of Artemis

You will meet your guide at your pick-up time and begin your full day tour. Explore The House of the Virgin Mary; Located 6km north of the ruins of Ephesus, a church was built from the 6th century AD on the foundations of a house dating from the 1st century AD and is declared by the church to be the last house where Mary spent her last days. Continue on to ancient Ephesus; an archaeological treasure, the best preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean. In the 1st century AD, Ephesus was the second largest city in the world after Rome, with a population of over 250,000. It was at the centre of the known world and played the role of a gateway between East and West. With its huge harbour, it was also the centre of trade in ancient times. As well as being a rich trading city, it was the honeymoon destination of Mark Anthony and Cleopatra. It is also home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. Ephesus is also so well preserved that you will feel like a time traveller as you walk through its ancient streets among the beautiful monuments such as the third largest library in the ancient world or the largest Roman theatre on the Asian continent.Next; The Temple of Artemis or Artemision was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The ancient cult of Artemis was very famous in antiquity and made Ephesus a much visited place of pilgrimage. There were a total of 127 Ionic columns with a height of 19m. The temple is also considered to be the earliest bank in the ancient world.

End of the tour transfer to airport and take a flight to Istanbul. Arrival to airport, pick up by agent and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 11 Departure Day from Istanbul (Breakfast included) Thursday

After breakfast, you will have some free time until it is time for your flight. Then, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight, which will mark the end of our service.
