Tour Programme:

* Visited Sights:  Goreme Panorama Point – Derinkuyu Underground City – Ihlara Valley (3 KM Walking) – Belisirma Village – Selime Monastery – Pigeon Valley
After breakfast, your first stop will be at Esentepe, which has an incredible panoramic view of the fairy chimneys and rock formations. We then head for Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the deepest of Cappadocia’s underground cities. You will continue on to Ihlara Valley. Here, you will have the chance to hike a section of the valley. We then take a break at Belisirma Village. Afterwards, we will visit Selime Monastery, the biggest rock-cut cathedral in Cappadocia. Our last stop is Cappadocia’s Pigeon Valley, named because of the thousands of Pigeon houses that have been carved over thousands of years. Afterwards transfer back to your Cappadocia hotel.

Tomorrow morning you have the opportunity to get another perspective of Cappadocia in a one hour Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Flight at sunrise. Please let us know in advance if you want to take advantage of this great opportunity as places are limited.

* Visited Sights:  Uchisar Castle – Goreme Open Air Museum – Love Valley – Avanos – Pasabaglari – Devrent Valley
After breakfast, your first stop of the day will be at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Goreme Open Air Museum. Our second stop will be Paşabağ Valley, also called the Monk’s Valley, home to some of the best examples of mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. We then drive to Devrent Valley , also known as “Imagination Valley”, where some of the most surreal rock formations can be found. After a lunch at Avanos, we will visit a local family-run pottery workshop for a kick-wheel pottery demonstration. Our last stop will be Uçhisar Castle, one of the highest points in Cappadocia. After tour, transfer back to your Cappadocia hotel.

* Visited Sights:  Seljukian Caravansarai (Karatayhan) – Pinarbasi – Tekir Valley – Adiyaman
Departure in the morning from Cappadocia. After passing Kayseri, visit the 13 th centyry Seljukian Caravansarai ”Karatayhan”. The next stop will be in Pinarbasi for a short tea break than drive to Tekir for Lunch. Take a picture of the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley. And then drive to Kahta. Tea break, transfer to hotel, overnight and dinner on Mt.Nemrut.

* Visited Sights:  Nemrut Mountain – Cendere Bridge (Roman) –  Sanliurfa – Harran House – Islamic University – Abraham Cave – Pools of Holy Carp – Gobekli Tepe (Temple) – Bedesten Bazaar
Very early departure up to the ruins, after get off the minibus twenty five minutes climbing on foot to the top where you will watch the beautiful sun rise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and Gods. After sun rised time to walk around and taking pictures. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. Drive to Kahta, on the way visit the ruins of the arsemia Roman bridge of Cendere and Tümülüs Tomb of Karakuş. Tea break in Kahta. Drive to Sanli Urfa-Harran on the way visit Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle east. Check in to hotel in Sanli Urfa, after lunch visit Abrahams Cave and the Pools of Holy Carp surrounding it, than walk around oriental covered bazaar drive to Harran. Harran is a village of Spellbinding Mud-Brick ”beehive” houses mentioned in the book of genesis where Abraham spend last years of his life. Visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest islamic university and the castle dated to eighteen century. Then tour goes to Gobekli Tepe. The oldest temple in the world so far excavated. Also considered site for the garden of Eden. After the sun set drive back to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Sanli Urfa.

* Visited Sights:  Birecik Old Town –  Bald-Ibis (Kel aynak) Birds – Halfeti Boat Tour (Euphrates) – Halfeti to Cappadocia
Departure from Sanliurfa to Birecik which is the famous with its bald-ibis (Kelaynak) birds. This birds are living only in Bilecik in the world. There is not much left of them. There is a Breeding farm of Bald İbis birds. Having a lunch, drive up to the Taurus Mountain. Tea break than drive back to Goreme. After tour, transfer back to your Cappadocia hotel.
